Mercy Corps Seeks Bids for Infrastructure Projects in Kandahar Amid Dire Humanitarian Crisis
Mercy Corps, an international humanitarian organization, is inviting expressions of interest for the construction of small-scale community infrastructure in the Dand district of Kandahar, Afghanistan. This initiative is part of efforts to address the severe humanitarian needs in the region. The organization has outlined a process for interested suppliers to submit their Intent to Bid (ITB) forms by August 11, 2026. The forms can be submitted via email or in person at Mercy Corps offices in Kabul, Kandahar, and Herat. Following the submission deadline, a Request for Proposal will be sent to those who have expressed interest. This project is crucial as Kandahar faces significant challenges, including political instability and economic hardships, which have exacerbated the humanitarian situation.
