Linda Blair's Home Raided by Authorities Over Dog Permit Violations
Authorities conducted a raid on Linda Blair's Southern California home to investigate reports of over 100 dogs being housed without a valid permit. The raid, involving approximately 70 members of law enforcement and other agencies, was executed to check for violations related to the number of animals on the property. Blair, known for her role in 'The Exorcist,' was present during the search and cooperated with officials. The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control, along with the Department of Regional Planning, stated that the goal was to inspect the property for compliance with county codes. Blair's permit to house 60 dogs had expired in 2023, and previous attempts to contact her had been unsuccessful. Despite the raid, no dogs were removed, and Blair later addressed the situation on Instagram, indicating that the issue was related to paperwork and expressing her intent to move to better support her animal rescue efforts.
