Jerusalem's FourWard Initiative Aims to Revolutionize Medical Innovation
Jerusalem has launched an ambitious initiative called FourWard, aimed at fostering collaboration in medical innovation. This partnership involves the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Azrieli Jerusalem Academic College of Engineering, and the Lev Academic Center, along with the Jerusalem Municipality and the Jerusalem Development Authority. The initiative seeks to create a platform for collaboration among academia, healthcare, industry, and entrepreneurship. It aims to promote applied research, technology commercialization, and the establishment of start-ups. The project is expected to strengthen Jerusalem's position as a hub for innovation and science, creating high-level jobs and attracting talent to the city. The initiative will focus on developing new medical technologies, such as tiny robots for minimally invasive procedures and AI-driven systems for predicting blood test results.
