International Paralympic Committee Approves Alpes 2030 Venue Masterplan, Enhancing Athlete Experience
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has approved the venue masterplan for the Alpes 2030 Paralympic Winter Games. This plan, developed by the Alpes 2030 Organising Committee, aims to enhance the athlete experience and streamline operations for the Games. The masterplan includes three competition clusters in the French Alps: Haute-Savoie, Savoie, and Lyon. Each cluster is designed to host specific events, such as Para biathlon, Para cross-country skiing, Para alpine skiing, Para snowboard, Para ice hockey, and wheelchair curling. The plan leverages existing Olympic venues and aims to provide world-class conditions for athletes while reducing logistical challenges.
