The Colorado Parks and Wildlife's Marine Evidence Recovery Team recently showcased their use of advanced technology, including sonar and underwater drones, at Chatfield Reservoir. This demonstration, covered by CBS Colorado, highlighted the team's training exercises aimed at recovering drowning victims and locating underwater evidence. The use of sonar and drones allows the team to efficiently search large areas underwater, providing a significant advantage in both rescue operations and criminal investigations. These technologies enable the team to detect objects and bodies submerged in water, which are often difficult to locate with traditional methods.
