Tallahassee Police Arrest Three, Including Teenagers, in Governor’s Square Mall Shooting
Tallahassee Police (TPD) have arrested three individuals, including teenagers, in connection with a shooting that occurred in the parking garage of Governor’s Square Mall on a Saturday. The suspects were identified as Marvin Gilkes, 15, Ronderick Troupe, 18, and a 14-year-old minor. TPD’s Violent Crime Response Team (VCRT) located and apprehended the trio at a separate address in Tallahassee without incident. The investigation revealed that Gilkes allegedly fired at a vehicle containing individuals with whom he had an earlier altercation inside the mall. Another vehicle with a family inside, not involved in the dispute, was also fired upon. Fortunately, no one in either vehicle was injured. Officers also recovered firearms, some reported stolen, and drugs during the investigation.
