University of Scranton Honors Faculty Members for Excellence in Teaching and Service
The University of Scranton recently recognized ten faculty members with Faculty Enhancement awards for their outstanding contributions in teaching, scholarship, and service. The awards were presented by the Office of the Provost and the Provost Advisory Group, who selected the recipients from nominations by academic deans and department chairs. Among the honorees, Michael Allison, Ph.D., received the Advancing Global Learning Award for his leadership in integrating international perspectives into the curriculum. Mehmet F. Bastug, Ph.D., was awarded the Faculty Senate Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award for his dedication to teaching graduate students in cybersecurity and homeland security. Other notable recipients include Lori Bruch, Ed.D., and Satyajit Ghosh, Ph.D., who were recognized for their service and leadership within the university community.
