Laguna Beach Celebrates Successful Return of Hospitality Night with Community Festivities
Laguna Beach recently hosted its annual Hospitality Night, a cherished local tradition that marks the beginning of the holiday season. The event, held on the first Friday of December, saw a significant turnout as hundreds of residents and visitors gathered in the downtown area. Forest Avenue and parts of other streets were closed to vehicles, allowing attendees to enjoy the festive atmosphere. The event featured 47 vendors, an increase from the previous year, offering a variety of goods and services. Entertainment was provided by local schoolchildren, including performances by students from Laguna Beach Unified School District and Anneliese School. The evening's highlights included the ceremonial lighting of the peppertree and the arrival of Santa Claus, who made his entrance on a lifeguard jeep. The event was organized by the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce, with Brittany Ganson, the Chamber's president and CEO, expressing her delight at the community's enthusiastic participation.
