Minnesota Man Commits Murder-Suicide at Daycare, Killing Family Members
In Hopkins, Minnesota, a tragic incident unfolded when a 41-year-old man killed his wife and their 7-year-old daughter at a daycare operated by the couple before taking his own life. Prior to this, police suspect he also murdered a 78-year-old relative at her home. The daycare, known as Brown Bear Childcare, was hosting six other children at the time, none of whom were physically harmed. The incident was reported by another parent who witnessed the attack while dropping off a child. Hopkins Police Chief Brent Johnson described the scene as horrific, especially for the young children present. The authorities are still investigating the timeline and motive behind these killings, as there was no prior history of police calls to the residence.
