The survey also highlights a political divide, with Liberal and NDP voters more likely to support the restrictions compared to Conservative voters. The tariffs, set to take effect on August 19, are part of a broader trade conflict initiated by President Trump, which includes retaliatory tariffs on U.S. vehicles and dairy products.
