Prince William and Princess Kate's Disagreement Over Baby Name Highlights Royal Traditions
In a new biography by Russell Myers titled 'William & Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story,' it is revealed that Prince William and Princess Kate faced a disagreement over the naming of their first child, Prince George. The couple, known for their strong relationship, found themselves at odds when choosing a name. Prince William preferred traditional names, ultimately narrowing his choices to George and Louis, both of which have historical significance within the royal family. On the other hand, Princess Kate favored the name Alexander for a boy, or Alexandra for a girl, the latter being Queen Elizabeth's middle name. Despite the disagreement, the couple reached a compromise, naming their son George Alexander Louis, thus incorporating both of their preferences.
