Ukraine Secures Oil Lifeline from Gulf States in Exchange for Military Support
Ukraine has reached agreements with Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, to receive oil and diesel supplies in exchange for military support. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that these agreements involve sending Ukrainian soldiers to assist in countering drone threats in the Middle East. The deals aim to address Ukraine's fuel shortages caused by Russian attacks on fuel depots. Zelenskyy highlighted that similar agreements are being negotiated with Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain, ensuring Ukraine's fuel needs are met for the next year.
