Toddler Step Stool Sold on Amazon Recalled Due to Safety Hazards
A wooden step stool for toddlers, sold on Amazon, has been recalled by the U.S. Consumer Protection Safety Commission (CPSC) due to safety concerns. The recall affects approximately 91,000 units of the Woodure children's tower kitchen step stools, manufactured by Shenzhen Muqiqu Creative Development Co. Ltd. The recall was issued after reports of the stools tipping over or collapsing, posing risks of serious injury or death. The CPSC noted that a child's torso could fit through openings on the stool, leading to potential entrapment hazards. The affected models, sold between July 2024 and July 2026, include WD1764, WD1357, and WD1720.
