Severe Storms Shift East, Target South Through Midweek
After days of intense severe weather across the central U.S., storms are now shifting into the South and East through midweek. Threats include damaging winds, large hail, flash flooding and isolated tornadoes, especially along the Gulf Coast and parts of the Southeast. Over 1,000 severe weather reports have already been logged, including dozens of tornadoes. While some rain may ease drought and wildfire risks, repeated storms could trigger localized flooding and continued disruptions.
