Tatiana Schlossberg Reveals Terminal Cancer Diagnosis Amid Family Support
Tatiana Schlossberg, granddaughter of former President John F. Kennedy, has publicly disclosed her diagnosis of terminal cancer. In an essay for The New Yorker, Schlossberg, aged 35, shared that she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia featuring a rare genetic mutation known as Inversion 3, which is present in less than 2% of such cases. The diagnosis came shortly after the birth of her daughter in May 2024. Despite undergoing extensive treatment, including chemotherapy, bone-marrow transplants, and clinical trials, her prognosis remains dire, with doctors estimating she has less than a year to live. Schlossberg, an environmental journalist, is supported by her family, including her siblings who are actively involved in helping raise her children.
