Blue Angels Cancel Seafair Air Show Performance Due to Wind Conditions
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels canceled their scheduled performance at the Seafair air show in Seattle due to unfavorable wind conditions. The decision was made to prioritize safety, as stated by Seafair officials. The cancellation affects the iconic air show, which is part of the larger Seafair weekend event that attracts approximately 180,000 visitors to Lake Washington and Genesee Park. Despite the cancellation, the air show is expected to resume the following day, weather permitting. The Museum of Flight, which hosts the Jet Blast Bash event, has offered rain checks to guests for the next day's show. This year marks the 77th anniversary of the Seafair event.
