Atlantic Ocean Monitored for Potential Tropical Developments by National Hurricane Center
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is currently monitoring two tropical waves in the Atlantic Ocean for potential development. The first wave is moving westward over the main development region of the Atlantic, facing challenges such as Saharan Dust, high wind shear, and cooler-than-normal ocean temperatures, which reduce its chances of development. The second wave, yet to enter the Atlantic waters, is expected to encounter more favorable conditions for development early next week, with a medium chance of evolving into at least a Tropical Depression.
