The Nordic countries have issued a joint statement reaffirming their commitment to the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy. This comes as ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida, and their affiliates continue to demonstrate adaptability and resilience, posing significant threats, particularly in parts of Africa, Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan.
