Central New York to See Warmer Weather and Sunshine Through the Weekend
Central New York (CNY) is set to experience a stretch of warmer and sunnier weather over the next few days, closely mirroring conditions from the previous week. High temperatures are forecast to gradually rise, with Thursday expected to reach 78°F (25.5°C), Friday 82°F (27.8°C), Saturday 85°F (29.4°C), and Sunday 85°F (29.4°C) as well. While most areas will remain dry, isolated downpours and thunderstorms are possible on Sunday, particularly in the Syracuse area and points east. This follows a cooler, rainy Wednesday influenced by a slow-moving low-pressure system, which brought below-average temperatures across the Great Lakes and Northeast regions. The rain is expected to clear out by Thursday morning, making way for improved outdoor conditions.
