Sacramento History Museum Unveils New Baseball Exhibit Highlighting Local Heritage
The Sacramento History Museum has launched a new exhibit titled 'Play Ball! Sacramento in the National Pastime,' coinciding with the start of the baseball season in the city. This exhibit, located in the R. Burnett & Mimi Glide Miller Gallery, showcases a wide array of historical baseball memorabilia. Visitors can explore various artifacts such as uniforms, bats, balls, and gloves from different eras. The exhibit also includes programs, tickets, awards, trophies, and even an Edmonds field base, home plate, and ticket box. Additionally, the display features scrapbooks, news articles, and photographs that document the rich history of baseball in Sacramento.
