Arkansas State University Honors Top Agriculture Graduates for 2025-26
Arkansas State University's College of Agriculture has recognized its top graduating students for the 2025-26 academic year during the Convocation of Scholars. The Chancellor’s Scholar Award, given for the highest overall GPA in the college, was awarded to Lexus Hagood from Harviell, Missouri, who majored in animal science. Other notable awards included the Outstanding Graduating Senior awards, which were presented to Hunter Mitchell, Ella Wise, Paiton Burgess, and Jackson Shopher, each excelling in different agricultural disciplines. Jennifer Hinojosa of Augusta was recognized as the most outstanding graduate student, completing a Master of Science in Agriculture with a concentration in plant and soil science. The event also honored Lindsey Lancaster with the Olen P. Nail Outstanding Junior Award and Sowmya Thadisina with the Dr. Ed Brown Award.
