Wausau Resident Alleges Lack of Notification on City-Backed Apartment Project Near East Bridge Street
Colleen Armstrong, a property owner in Wausau, Wisconsin, has publicly stated that she received no formal notification regarding a proposed multi-story apartment development adjacent to her home at 205 E. Bridge St. Armstrong learned about the project, which is being advanced by the city, through word of mouth. She expressed shock at the lack of communication from either the city or the developer, Eminent Development Corporation. The proposed development, located on a city-owned parcel on North 2nd Street within Tax Increment District No. 3, is planned to be a mixed-use building with approximately 45 to 60 apartment units, ground-level parking, and a separate commercial structure.
