Metrobus Crash in Washington D.C. Restaurant Injures Three
A Metrobus crashed into a restaurant in Washington, D.C., on the morning of April 4, injuring three individuals. The incident occurred at the intersection of 7th and Q streets NW in the Shaw neighborhood. According to the DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department, the bus was lodged inside the Ambar Restaurant, which was empty at the time. The crash involved a Metrobus and a Chevrolet Traverse SUV, with the latter allegedly running a red light, leading to the collision. The three injured individuals, including the bus driver, a passenger, and the SUV driver, sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority reported that the SUV struck the bus, causing the driver to lose control and crash into the building.
