NBA Africa Awards Five Startups with Prizes at Accelerator Demo Day
NBA Africa has announced the winners of its second Triple-Double Accelerator Demo Day, held in Kigali, Rwanda. The event, which supports the African technology ecosystem, awarded five startups with financial support and the opportunity to join Carnegie Mellon University Africa's Business Incubation Program. The winning companies include Reborn from Morocco, Fitclan and Athlon Technology from Egypt, and Atsur and Songdis from Nigeria. These startups were selected from over 700 applicants across 32 African countries. The top three companies also received $10,000 in API credits and an immersion day with the OpenAI engineering team. The Demo Day was supported by CMU-Africa, ServiceNow, and OpenAI, with ALX Ventures as the official operating partner.
