Thomas Paul James Cogis Remembered for His Community Contributions
Thomas Paul James Cogis, a respected member of the Cicero community, passed away on July 26, 2026. Born in Rochester, Pennsylvania, Cogis moved to Indiana to pursue a career in the building trades, eventually becoming a truss designer. He was known for his passion for archaeology, particularly arrowhead collecting, and was a member of the Indiana and Kentucky Archaeological Societies. Cogis was also an Associate Pastor at Generations Church in Tipton, where he was admired for his dedication to his faith and community. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and a large family, including children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
