Houston Police Investigate Shooting in Greenspoint Area, Man in Critical Condition
A 26-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times at an apartment complex in the Greenspoint area of Houston. Houston Police Department (HPD) officers responded to a call on Northpoint near Northchase around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday. The victim initially claimed he was shot in a drive-by incident, but HPD officers reported that his account did not fully align with their findings. A subsequent investigation led officers to an apartment where they discovered a blood trail, bullets, and drugs. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about gun violence and drug-related activities in certain areas of Houston.
