Obituary for Robert Richard Kern, Sr. Highlights Family Legacy and Community Impact
Robert Richard Kern, Sr., aged 87, passed away at his home in Pasadena on August 5, 2026. Known affectionately as Bob, he was born in Baltimore and spent many years working for A&P Food Company before retiring. Bob was a family man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, and annual vacations in Wildwood, New Jersey. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members, including his great-nephew Nicholas Wagner. The family will hold a visitation at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services on August 10, followed by a funeral ceremony on August 11. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
