Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit by Frontier Airlines Plane at Denver Airport
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Frontier Airlines plane during takeoff at Denver International Airport late Friday night. The individual reportedly jumped a perimeter fence and was hit by the aircraft, an Airbus A321, which was carrying 224 passengers and seven crew members. The incident led to smoke in the cabin, prompting the pilots to abort takeoff and evacuate passengers via slides. Emergency crews quickly extinguished a brief engine fire. Twelve passengers reported minor injuries, with five taken to local hospitals. The pedestrian's identity has not been released, and they are not believed to be an airport employee.
