Himmelfarb High School Mourns Loss of Ten Members in Recent Conflicts
Himmelfarb High School in Jerusalem has been deeply affected by the loss of nine graduates and one teacher since October 7. These individuals, who were part of the Israeli Defense Forces, were killed in various incidents related to ongoing conflicts. The school, known for its commitment to pluralism and tradition, has seen its community come together to remember the fallen, who were noted for their courage and dedication. Among those lost are Staff Sergeant Aner Shapira, Captain Ariel Reich, and First Sergeant Yuval Shoham, each remembered for their bravery and contributions both in and out of military service. The school has a history of producing graduates who serve in the military, with a significant number becoming officers.
