Back-to-School Events Support Metro Atlanta Families with Essential Resources
As the new school year approaches, several back-to-school events in metro Atlanta are providing essential resources to families. The Ready, Set, Grow event in DeKalb County has supported 300 families by offering free backpacks, haircuts, food, and access to mental health resources. Additionally, Kai's Promise hosted its annual Back to School Splash, focusing on neurodiverse children and their families by providing free school supplies and a safe day of fun. These events aim to help families start the school year with confidence and ensure that children have the necessary tools and support for a successful academic year.
