The fire, which began around 7 p.m., quickly spread to 30 acres, threatening nearby structures. Firefighters, including ground crews and water-dropping helicopters, worked to contain the blaze. By 9:30 p.m., the fire was holding at 30 acres due to cooler temperatures and higher humidity. Evacuation orders were lifted by 10 p.m., although road closures remained in effect.
