Man Arrested on Drug Charges Following Raid at Weymouth Pizza Shop
Jeremy Caruso, 50, of Whitman, was arrested on multiple drug charges after Massachusetts State Police executed a search warrant at Denly Gardens Old World Pizza in Weymouth. Caruso, who helps manage the family-owned restaurant, pleaded not guilty to the charges. The raid followed a four-month investigation by state police detectives, which established probable cause and led to warrants for Caruso's arrest and searches of his home, car, and the restaurant. Authorities seized various substances, including cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, psilocybin mushroom bars, suboxone strips and pills, and THC vape cartridges and edibles. Caruso faces charges of trafficking cocaine and possession with intent to distribute other drugs. His brother, Mark Caruso, who co-manages the restaurant, denied the allegations, stating the family cannot control every employee's actions. The business remains open, and Caruso is scheduled to appear in court next month.
