Montclair Council Introduces Redevelopment Plan for Claremont Avenue Municipal Complex
The Montclair Township Council has introduced a redevelopment plan for the Claremont Avenue municipal complex, marking an initial step toward potentially relocating the township's main offices. The plan was subsequently reviewed by the township's planning board on Monday night. While the specific future location of the municipal offices remains undecided, this redevelopment plan establishes parameters for the future use of the existing property. Erik D’Amato, Montclair’s First Ward Councilor, emphasized that this is one of many necessary steps to facilitate a future transaction.
