C Launches Initiative to Engage Youth in Civic Problem-Solving
C&S, formerly known as the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, has launched a three-year initiative to engage young people in civic problem-solving. Supported by $25 million in funding from various foundations, the program aims to reach 20 million young people by 2029. The initiative builds on existing programs like Carnegie Young Leaders, which provides funding and mentorship for youth-led community projects. C&S emphasizes the importance of diverse viewpoints in addressing local challenges, promoting collaboration and negotiation skills among participants.
