Total Solar Eclipse 2026 to Be Visible Across Northern Hemisphere
A total solar eclipse is set to occur on August 12, 2026, sweeping across parts of the Northern Hemisphere. The path of totality will begin over the Arctic Ocean and pass through eastern Greenland, western Iceland, and northern Spain, before ending over the Mediterranean Sea. This celestial event will offer millions of people the opportunity to witness the moon completely covering the sun, turning day into twilight. The eclipse will also be visible as a partial eclipse in much of Europe, including the UK, France, and Germany.
