Study Shows Yoga Reduces Anxiety and Insomnia in Cancer Survivors
A clinical trial involving 410 cancer survivors in the U.S. has demonstrated that yoga can significantly reduce anxiety, insomnia, and other side effects associated with cancer treatment. The study, presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology's annual meeting, involved participants practicing gentle hatha and restorative yoga. The results showed meaningful improvements in mood, anxiety, and fatigue, offering a non-pharmaceutical option for managing these common post-treatment symptoms.
