Michael Clemente, Former ABC and Fox News Executive, Passes Away at 70
Michael Clemente, a prominent television executive and producer, has died at the age of 70. Clemente had a distinguished career spanning nearly three decades at ABC News, where he worked closely with Peter Jennings and produced coverage of significant global events such as the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Tiananmen Square protests. He later joined Fox News, where he played a key role in overseeing major political programming, including presidential primary debates. Clemente was known for his pioneering work in digital journalism, helping to launch ABC News Now and transforming ABCNews.com into a leading digital news platform. He passed away suddenly at his home in Garrison, New York.
