The project, supported by funding secured by President Trump, includes a new Eighth Avenue entrance and the removal of the theater attached to Madison Square Garden. The renovation aims to increase commuter space significantly and improve the overall passenger experience with naturally-lit, open concourses. Construction is expected to begin in 2027 and take approximately six years to complete.
