Nevada Education Leaders to Launch Data Dashboard for Student Career Preparation
Nevada education officials are set to launch a new data dashboard aimed at tracking student career preparation. This initiative, discussed at a recent summit, will utilize existing data to better understand the transition from high school to college and the workforce. The dashboard will provide insights into student participation in career and technical education programs, as well as courses that offer early college credit. Assemblymember Erica Mosca, a key advocate for the project, emphasized the importance of using this data to identify gaps in public education and improve investment strategies. The dashboard, which goes live on September 1, will also track students who require remedial courses in college and their subsequent employment outcomes.
