U.S. Nonprofits Awarded for Trust-Building Initiatives Across Communities
The Aspen Institute and Allstate have announced the recipients of the 2026 Trust in Practice Awards, providing $5.25 million to 11 nonprofit collaborations across 10 states. These awards aim to address America's trust deficit by funding projects that bridge divides and strengthen social connections. The selected projects include initiatives for flood recovery, intergenerational healing, and cultural experiences to rebuild trust between communities. The awards drew over 1,600 proposals, highlighting a significant demand for trust-building efforts nationwide.
