Senators Sanders and Welch to Host Telephone Town Hall for Vermonters
Senators Peter Welch and Bernie Sanders are scheduled to host a telephone town hall for residents of Vermont. The event, set for Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m., aims to provide an opportunity for Vermonters to ask questions and engage directly with their senators. Ahead of the town hall, individuals were encouraged to register by Monday, September 21, to receive a call inviting them to participate or to submit questions in advance. Both senators plan to address both pre-submitted and live questions during the session. For those unable to join by phone, the town hall will also be livestreamed on Senator Sanders' YouTube and Facebook accounts.
