Additionally, dry surface vegetation and low relative humidity levels between 25 and 30 percent are exacerbating the situation. The affected areas include all regions north of Interstate 80 and west of Interstate 35. These conditions are expected to persist until 6 PM CDT today, posing a significant threat for rapid fire spread if any ignition occurs.
