Washington, DC Prepares for Record-Breaking July 4 Fireworks Show
Washington, DC is set to host what organizers claim will be the largest fireworks display in history on July 4, as part of the 250th anniversary celebrations of the United States. The event, orchestrated by Pyrotecnico, a family-run company, will feature a 40-minute spectacle with over 860,000 pyrotechnics launched from 10 locations, including eight barges on the Potomac River and several sites in West Potomac Park. This ambitious display aims to surpass the previous world record held by the Philippines. The show is designed to create a panoramic view of fireworks over iconic monuments such as the Lincoln Memorial, with the event being meticulously planned and executed by a team of designers and technicians.
