Major Retailers Recall Products Due to Safety Hazards, Affecting Thousands of Consumers
Several products sold by major retailers such as Costco, Amazon, and Target have been recalled due to safety concerns. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has identified risks including falls, choking, carbon monoxide poisoning, and entrapment. Notable recalls include 18,500 patio swings from Costco, which pose a fall hazard, and 102,430 pull-string teething toys from Amazon, which present a choking risk. Additionally, 125,200 children's tower stools have been recalled due to potential tip-over hazards. Consumers are advised to stop using these products and contact manufacturers for repairs or refunds.
