Kansas City Bride Receives Jury Duty Summons on Wedding Day in Italy, Goes Viral
Katrina Badowski, a 35-year-old bride from Kansas City, gained widespread attention after receiving a jury duty summons for the exact day of her wedding in Rome, Italy. The notice, which arrived on August 14, would have required her to serve one week of jury duty starting on her wedding day, more than 5,000 miles away from her nuptials with Billie Rodriguez, 42.
