Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inducts Six New Honorary Members for 2026
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the first Black sorority in the United States, has inducted six new honorary members during its 72nd Boule in Las Vegas. The 2026 honorary class includes Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett-Helaire, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Pauletta Pearson Washington, Merline Saintil, and Robin Washington. These women have made significant contributions in fields such as immunology, theater, film, technology, and business. The sorority's International President and CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, praised the inductees for their professional achievements and commitment to service, aligning with the sorority's values of leadership, scholarship, and service.
