Geno Mueller's Stroke at Age 7 Highlights Importance of Recognizing Symptoms
Seven-year-old Geno Mueller suffered a stroke while at a pool last summer, but his father, Bo Mueller, quickly recognized the warning signs and sought immediate medical attention. Geno was flown to the Cleveland Clinic, where doctors performed emergency surgery to remove a clot from his brain. Despite the rarity of pediatric strokes, Geno's case underscores the importance of recognizing symptoms early. His family is sharing his story during Stroke Awareness Month to raise awareness that strokes can occur at any age.
