Wind Phones in Minnesota Offer Unique Grieving Outlet for the Bereaved
In West St. Paul, Minnesota, a unique project involving 'wind phones' is providing comfort to those grieving the loss of loved ones. Jennifer Swenson installed a rotary phone in her yard, not connected to any network, allowing people to 'call' and speak to their deceased loved ones. This concept, originating from Japan, serves as a symbolic outlet for expressing emotions and maintaining a connection with the departed. The Grief Club of Minnesota has also received a donated wind phone, further supporting families in their grieving process.
