President Droupadi Murmu Honors Shivakumara Swami's Legacy of Philanthropy and Education
President Droupadi Murmu paid tribute to Shivakumara Swami during the Guruvandana Mahotsava, celebrating his 119th birth anniversary. The event highlighted the contributions of Sree Siddaganga Mutt in providing education to underprivileged students from marginalized communities. President Murmu praised the Mutt for continuing Shivakumara Swami's legacy of nation-building, philanthropy, and devotion to duty. She emphasized the importance of education in fostering self-reliance and character development, noting Karnataka's role in exemplifying public service and spirituality.
