Oma’s Pride Recalls Nearly 3,900 Pounds of Dog Food Due to Salmonella Contamination
Oma’s Pride has issued a recall for approximately 3,834 pounds of its Woof Complete Canine Chicken Recipe frozen raw dog food after testing confirmed salmonella contamination. The recall specifically targets 639 six-pound bags with SKU: F-WOOFC-6, Lot number: BB012729, UPC: 8 7938400145 9, a manufacturing date of January 27, 2026, and a best-by date of January 27, 2029. Three dogs have reportedly fallen ill, though no human illnesses have been reported. The affected product was distributed to stores and wholesalers in 11 states, including Virginia, and was also sold directly to customers nationwide through online orders. Customers are advised to immediately stop feeding the recalled food to their pets, dispose of it securely, and sanitize all surfaces and utensils that came into contact with the product.
